An important modern edition in 10 vols. of this historic work by the "modest clergyman and patriotic chronicler of England's maritime achievements". Illustrated with photogravure plates from old prints, maps, charts and 64 drawings and decorations by Thomas Derrick. Richard Hakluyt's collection of voyages is one of the more famous works on Elizabethan history. Hard bound in green cloth with gilt lettering and ship designs on cover and spine, with map on endpapers. Two volumes, lacking the dj.
