An interesting pair of maps of central and southern France showing the prime meridian from Paris with each minute of latitude marked. Along this line the cartographer has plotted the coordinates of several villages. The first map covers from La Marche to Bresse in the north and from Quercy to Vivarez in the south. The second map covers the coast of the Golfe de Lyon to the boundary with Spain. Both are very detailed. De Berey is noted as the engraver on the second map. Light scattered foxing, tears in margins and one tiny hole in the first map.
