It contains two maps, one above the other: Principal Features of Meteorology with an inset "Rain Map"; and Distribution and Limits of Cultivation of The Principal Plants Useful to Mankind. The other two are by A. J. Johnson, dated 1864. First contains 3 maps covering the subjects of the animal kingdom, productive industry, and ocean currents, with an inset "Bird Map". The other covers, plant distribution, meteorology and geography, with an inset "Rain Map". All with decorative borders.
