First, titled "Seconds Voyageurs Aëriens, ou Expérience de MM Charles et Robert" is a hand-colored copperplate engraving of the launch of a balloon with a large crowd gathered on the palace grounds. French text at bottom describes the voyage and includes an inset map. Second (9.8 x 8.5") is an uncolored engraving illustrating a political satire, concerning the wars between the English and the Dutch. It includes a very interesting balloon with a canoe shaped basket.
