Handsome copper engraved map of the Battle of Hastenbeck outside the fortified city of Hamelen. The English and French armies are shown arrayed on either side of the defenseless town. The map provides an excellent view of the terrain surrounding the battleground, including all the tiny villages. Trimmed nearly to neatlines for binding. On very thick paper, for this publication. One tiny hole in an un-engraved area.
