An attractive map of central Mexico that reaches from Durango in the north to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in the south. Mexico City is located on the shores of a large lake. A decorative title cartouche graces the map. This map was published in a Dutch edition of Antoine Francois Prevost d'Exiles' influential collection of travel narratives, L'Histoire Generale des Voyages with alternate Dutch title below the map: Kaart van het Mexico.
