This charming small map depicts most of Southeast Asia, extending into parts of China and Bangladesh. The Bay of Bengal is noted. A number of rivers are depicted with several named, including five rivers flowing south from the mythical Lac de Chiamay. Adorned with a drape-style cartouche. There is related French text on verso.

Condition: A

A crisp impression on a bright sheet with non-archival tape along the edges of the sheet on verso, which show through on recto, but would not be visible if framed.
