This exquisitely engraved plan view of Harderwijk was published in Blaeu's town book of Netherlands. It shows the city along the Zuiderzee, with spectacular detail of its fortifications and architecture. A key identifies 39 sites of interest. The coats of arms of Gelderland and Harderwijk appear in the upper corners. The title is enclosed by a drape-style cartouche. Latin text on verso.
