This complete atlas consists of six single-page maps and two double-page maps of The World and the United States. The U.S. map shows Arkansaw Territory in its larger configuration, in addition to a large Missouri Territory extending to the Rocky Mountains. The northwestern boundary between the United States and the British possessions in Canada is not delineated reflecting the joint occupation of the Oregon territory. Mexico occupies the American Southwest and Texas, here named Tecas. The atlas also includes maps of North America, South America, Europe, Britain, Asia, and Africa. Published by Collins & Haxnay in New York. Blue paper wrappers with an advertisement for Morse's other works on the back cover.

References: Rumsey #627.

Condition: B

Contemporary outline color with light toning, minor soiling, and dog-eared corners (margins only). Wrappers are stained and soiled with chips along the spine. A nicer example than typically found.
