This elegantly engraved celestial map of the southern skies was published by Vincenzo Manfredi in the eighth volume of the Italian translation of Noel Antoine Pluche's Le Spectacle de la Nature... The map is based on the Jean Back's original, with beautiful representations of the Milky Way and various constellations, including Capricornus and Sagittarius. The hemisphere is split and illustrated on two separate sheets.
