This map of ancient France is filled with classical place names, cities, and the extensive river system. Embellished with an allegorical title cartouche featuring Hercules, Mercury, a lion, and putti. Dated 1658 but published in 1667.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color and later color in the cartouche, on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark. There are a few minor extraneous creases adjacent to the centerfold and marginal soiling.
