This unusual and highly stylized view emphasizes the domes and spires of Constantinople. The panoramic view includes a 26-point legend, in German and Latin, below. A ribbon title cartouche and artistically rendered coat of arms with a crescent moon symbolizing the Ottoman Empire. Printed from two plates on 2 joined sheets, as issued. A very rare engraving published in Augsburg.
