This charming double-hemisphere world map features a comparative diagram of the tallest mountains around the world in the bottom cusp, which are numbered and labeled at the sides of the map. The map labels countries and key cities, and shows major lakes, rivers and basic topographical details. In North America, Mexico is still in control of the Southwestern United States, however boundaries between the countries are not shown. Alaska is labeled Amerique Russe. In Europe, Germany extends south to Italy and the Austrian Empire extends to the Black Sea. An interesting and decorative map. Edited by Hocquart.
