This scarce attractive engraving of the Holy Land is divided among the twelve Tribes on both sides of the Jordan River and follows the Mediterranean coastline from Gaza to Sidon. The map shows many towns, cities, lakes, rivers, and mountains. A large and elaborate cartouche shows a female figure holding the stones containing the Ten Commandments as well as a priest offering sacrifice.

Condition: B+

On a bright sheet with some light staining in the lower corners and in the title cartouche. There is a bit of paper weakness at bottom left and a pair of wormholes adjacent to the lower centerfold.
