This bird's eye view of Rome presents the city on seven hills in remarkable detail, right down to the streets, churches, houses, gardens, piazzas, bridges and gates. A small inset plan at the bottom shows the seven hills along with the fourteen coats of arms and a key to the corresponding city divisions. The map is embellished with large figurative and architectural cartouches and several cherubs.
