This folding map was included in a prospectus for the Prosperity Oil Company. The stock offering was for a location in Kern County with the McKittrick, Midway and Sunset Oil Districts identified. Includes an inset of the "West Side Oil Belt of California" at top left. Accompanied by 11 pages of text with photo illustrations. Printed by Cooper & Company in San Francisco. The lot also includes 3 printed forms for buying stock and a copy of the Nevada City, California Herald from December 21, 1900 with a front page article on the company.
