This decorative miniature map depicts the western coast of South America with the Patagonia mountain range flanking the coast. It extends into present-day Argentina, here called Pays des Environs de la Plata, and shows unengraved areas of Peru, including an unnamed Lake Titicaca. Santiago, Mendoza, Valparaiso, and Concepcion are identified.

Condition: B+

There is a large, but faint damp stain in the map image, minor show-through of text on verso, and marginal toning.
