A fine title page in the classic architectural style of the Renaissance. Two pillars capped by pediments supporting the multiple-quartered coat of arms of Spain flank the title. At sides are the allegorical female representations of the four continents. The French title and imprint are pasted onto the engraved architectural framework, as was customary with title pages.

Superb contemporary color with gilt highlights on paper with a large "GA" watermark. There is minor soiling in the pastedowns and moderate soiling along the top edge of the sheet, well away from the image.
