A. The New Eddystone, in Bhem's Canal, by (Capt) George Vancouver, from A Voyage of Discovery to the North Pacific Ocean ... Vol. II, dated 1798 (9.1 x 6.2"). This view depicts a remnant of a volcanic plug in Behm Canal, Alaska. Vancouver and his men collided with natives in the canal as they searched in vain for the Northwest Passage. Drawn by William Alexander, based on a sketch from F. Sykes. Engraved by B.T. Pouncy. Published by R. Edwards, J. Edwards, and G. Robinson. Condition: A nice impression issued folding with a few faint spots in image.

B. Village of the Friendly Indians at the Entrance of Bute's Canal, by (Capt) George Vancouver, from A Voyage of Discovery to the North Pacific Ocean ... Vol. I, dated 1798 (8.9 x 6.3"). This engraving shows natives navigating a canoe through Bute Inlet, located in present-day British Columbia. In the background there is a native village built on a hill. Drawn by William Alexander, based on a sketch from Thomas Heddington. Engraved by J. Landseer. Published by R. Edwards, J. Edwards, and G. Robinson. Condition: A nice impression issued folding with marginal soiling.

C. Canoes of Oonalashka, by Cook/Webber, from Cook's Voyage, Octavo Edition, circa 1793 (6.3 x 3.8"). This small engraving is based on the drawing by John Webber from Cook's third voyage. It is one of the earliest western depictions of the Kayak. It is highly detailed showing both the one man and two man skin covered kayaks. Engraved by Birrell. Condition: Light show-through of text on verso.

D. A Woman of Prince William's Sound, on the North West Coast of America, by Cook/Webber, from A Voyage to the Pacific, circa 1800 (5.3 x 6.4"). This engraving is a portrait of a female native of Prince William Sound, showcasing her elaborate piercings. Drawn by John Webber and engraved by Page. Condition: A crisp impression.

E. A Savage of Prince Williams Sound on the North West Coast of America, by Cook/Webber, from A Voyage to the Pacific, circa 1800 (5.3 x 6.6"). This engraving is a portrait of a male native of Prince William Sound, showcasing his piercings and ornate hat. Drawn by John Webber and engraved by Page. Condition: A nice impression on watermarked paper with marginal soiling.
