This incomplete example of volume two contains seven maps of Europe including Russia, Germany, France, Spain/Portugal, Netherlands, England/Wales, and Scotland. Each is surrounded by a decorative border with "Engraved for Millar's New Complete & Universal System of Geography" at top. Particularly noteworthy in this example are 17 engraved plates including depictions of reindeer in Lapland, a German "Bear Garden", and cannibals in the Caribbean. 356 total pages of text mostly related to Europe, with the last 34 dedicated to the Americas. Printed for Alexander Hogg at No. 16 Pater-Noster Row in London. Hardbound in brown cloth with gilt tile on spine.

Condition: B

The maps and plates have some light toning and a few maps have been trimmed to the decorative border. Text has light to moderate toning with some moderate to heavy offsetting on pages opposing a map or plate. There is a library blind stamp on the title page. Modern binding has light wear.
