Highly detailed map covers the Low Countries, Germany, Bohemia, Poland, and Switzerland, extending as far south as the Gulf of Venice. While the focus of the map is the postal routes marked with dashed lines, it also shows political divisions, numerous place names, rivers and topography. Decorated by an attractive title cartouche with a man on horseback riding by a house in the countryside.

Sturdy, watermarked paper with an archivally repaired centerfold separation that enters 4" into map at bottom, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
