This is the 1998 Martino Fine Books reprint of the original 1921 edition. It is considered the classic text on globes, from the earliest through the end of the 18th Century. Hardbound in blue cloth with red and gilt title on spine. This reprint was limited to 150 copies. It is two volumes bound as one; Volume I, 218 pages, Volume II, 291 pages. An important reference book for any map/globe collector.
