This map depicts the Orinoco River from its delta on the Atlantic Ocean through Venezuela. The Orinoco River is shown extending too far west, nearly to the Cauca and Magdalena Rivers in Colombia. The extensive, although not entirely accurate, river system is featured, with dozens of small villages located throughout. There are a few notations on the inhabitants and location of Natives.

A nice impression on watermarked paper, issued folding and now flattened. There are some spots of foxing primarily confined to the blank margins, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
