The map of North America still shows Texas as a part of Mexico, and the United States claims in the Pacific Northwest extend well north into Canada, which is unusual for a British atlas. Features detailed maps of Van Dieman's Land and New Zealand. Includes a 14 page index. Quarter leather and tips over cloth boards with paper label on front cover. Published in London by William S. The maps are overall very good to near fine with occasional foxing. The title page and table of contents are moderately foxed. Covers are moderately worn with a chip on the front cover. A previous owner's stamp is on the front cover.
