This unusual map focuses on the Eastern Mediterranean region and extends from Turkey through Egypt. It illustrates the Kingdoms of David and Solomon at the time when Israel was at its greatest extent. At left is a very large column of text with a color key, outlining three different schemas of political divisions within the Holy Land. With column of text the sheet measures 22.2 x 18".

Condition: B+

Original outline color in the map with later color in the cartouche. There is some color offsetting in the text column, minor toning along the centerfold, and one small rust spot in the map at top right.
