This rare chart of the southern tip of Italy and Sicily extends to include parts of Sardinia, the Barbary coast, Malta, and Greece. Place names are confined to the coastlines, and large cities are denoted by miniature castles. A flaming Mt. Etna is depicted in Sicily. Adorned with a decorative compass rose.

Condition: B+

There is light soiling and offsetting, a few tiny holes only visible when held to light, and an archivally repaired centerfold separation that enters 1.5" into map at top.
