This lot includes three interesting, decorative charts featuring various cartographic diagrams. The first is centered on an elaborate wind rose with astronomical diagrams flanked with panels of French text. The other pair of attractive diagrams show various cartographic theories and projections. Each is surrounded in a rococo style border printed from a separate plate featuring a small vignette at bottom center depicting students studying geography and cartographic instruments.
