This handsome map covers the area of present-day Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with the Baltic Sea, as well as the neighboring coastlines of Sweden and Finland. The map is embellished with sailing ships, a title cartouche, and the coats of arms for Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Courland (Latvia), Lithuania, Moscovia, and Ingria. Latin text on verso, published between 1640-43.

Original color with a crisp impression on watermarked paper with all edges gilt. There is minor offsetting, light scattered foxing, and a printer's crease that runs parallel to the centerfold. There are a couple short edge tears and light toning in the blank margins.
