This handsome map focuses on the Welsh counties of Denbighshire and Flintshire. It shows the Dee Estuary and various parks, rivers, and towns, including Wrexham, Denbigh, Chester, Ruthin, and Flint. There is good topographical information as well. The Bangor Cathedral is located and identified as the antientest Monastary in the world. Two coats of arms and the Prince of Wales's feathers appear, and there are three ornate cartouches: one for the title, one for the distance scale featuring putti with navigational tools, and an empty one with more putti and tools. Dutch text on verso, published between 1648-62.

References: Van der Krogt (Vol. II) #5555:2.

Condition: A

A dark impression on a watermarked sheet with wide margins, some printer's ink residue, and very minor offsetting. There are several short edge tears and a sizable chip at top right in the blank margins, all of which are well away from the image.
