An attractive, small map featuring good detail of Panama many years before the creation of the Canal and Lake Bayano. The map extends to include the northwestern coastline of Colombia to the Magdalena River. The focus of the map is on the mountains and river systems, although a number of place names are included, such as Portobelo, Panama City, Sta. Maria, and Cartagena. Adorned with a delicate title cartouche.
