A nice set of three early maps of the state, all in original color including:

A. Pennsylvania, by Anthony Finley, circa 1830 (11.3 x 8.6"). This attractive map of the state shows county configurations are up to date as of 1830, with the addition of Jefferson County in the northwestern part of the state. The map depicts the early wagon road network with numerous towns and cities named. Topography and drainage is well represented. Engraved by Young & Delleker. Condition: (A)

B. Pennsylvania, by David H. Burr, dated 1836 (12.1 x 10.6"). A detailed map of Pennsylvania that shows early county development and includes portions of the Delaware and Chesapeake bays. The early roads and railways are noted, and many towns and cities are named. The map is surrounded in a keyboard style border. Condition: Faint toning and a few spots of foxing. (B+)

C. Pennsylvania, by Bradford & Goodrich, dated 1838 (14.2 x 11.4"). Nice map of the state showing the roads, canals and early railways. Engraved by G.W. Boynton. Condition: Light scattered foxing and toning. (B+)
