Dramatic chart of a 32-point wind rose with rich Baroque decoration. Surrounding the rose are 32 wind-heads that represent various races of mankind. Each of the points is named in six languages (German, Dutch, Italian, Latin, French and Spanish). In the four corners are the allegorical representations of the four seasons.

An excellent impression with full original color and one tiny tear in the image that has been archivally repaired. Light toning along the edges of the sheet and remnants of hinge tape on verso.
