This fascinating and highly decorative sheet depicts the genealogy of Charles VII, Holy Roman Emperor, and the House of Wittelsbach in a traditional "family tree" style. There are two coats-of-arms, one for the House of Wittelsbach, which is being held by a lion hoisting a sword, and the other for Charles VII, which has a herald angel flying above it. A king lies in repose under the tree. An elaborate title cartouche incorporating numerous allegorical figures appears at bottom left with an explanation of the abbreviations used underneath it.
