Fine map of lower Silesia with its capital at Breslaw (Wroclaw). The map is oriented with north to the left, with Glogau at center. Richly adorned with strapwork key, scale of miles, coats of arms and a title cartouche with coat of arms. The map is attributed to the Silesian cartographer Jonas Scultetus (1603-1664), who worked for both Jansson and Blaeu preparing maps of the region. Latin text on verso, published between 1640-43.

A crisp impression with attractive color, light printer's ink residue around the title cartouche, and professionally repaired centerfold separations at top and bottom.
