A very interesting military-themed engraving filled with depictions of weapons, bombs, missiles, fortifications, tools, battery construction, and much more. Completely filled with information including some of the most bizarre and lethal weapons we've seen. A legend identifies 84 items with keyed number to engraving. The engraving was created to assist drawers and engravers of bird's-eye plans, topographical maps, battle plans, and encampments. A remarkable and rarely seen issue, even more rarely found printed in sepia ink, as with this example.
