"Plan Pittoresque de la Ville de Paris", Vuillemin, Alexander A.

This large and elegant steel-engraved plan of Paris features vignettes of various attractions, including the Louvre, Place Vendome, Arc de Triomphe, and Tuileries Palace. A table running the length of the map at bottom lists the streets of Paris in alphabetical order. There is another table at bottom left that locates a number of Parisian institutions such as hospitals, museums, and prisons and details the breakdown of the city's arrondissements and quarters. A nice impression with light soiling and scattered foxing, a small damp stain to the right of Champs-Elysees, and a small abrasion near center. There are a few worm holes and tracks in the linen.
