This handsome mid-19th century map of London covers the region from Hyde Park east to the London Docks and from Pentonville south to Kennington. Depicted are streets, canals, public buildings, docks, bridges and parks with the River Thames prominently running through the center of the map image. Surrounded by a detailed street index. The map is dissected and backed with linen and folds into stiff blue paper covers measuring 4.5 x 6".

Attractive original color with light offsetting. Slipcase is moderately worn.
