This lot includes 5 full page, colored wood engravings of important West Point locations by Rudolph Ruzicka. Each of the prints is signed in pencil by Ruzicka. The prints were originally commissioned by The Howitzer Staff (USMA) for inclusion in its 1938 yearbook. A brief summary on the inside front cover states the Howitzer staff "has selected this medium for a portfolio of West Point because it seems to possess qualifications singularly appropriate both as regards color and the quality of terse veracity so characteristic of the subject." The list of prints include:

A. Washington Hall.
B. Administration Building.
C. Cullum Hall.
D. Fort Putnam.
E. Cadet Chapel.

The present example was issued separately and is a portfolio of 5 loose prints with additional engravings on the front and inside rear covers (unsigned).
