Speed's elaborate map of the Berkshire region features a large vignette of Windsor Castle at top. A small vignette at left depicts a the Battle at Radcott Bridge (1387) and a listing above it indicates who received the Order of Garter in 1350 (the highest order of chivalry in England). The map is handsomely embellished with three coats of arms, compass rose, and distance scale. Published by John Sudbury and George Humble. English text on verso.

Condition: B+

There are professional repairs to several centerfold separations in the bottom half of the map and in the top blank margin. Light toning and faint damp stains confined to the blank margins with minor soiling along the centerfold.
