This map of Illinois was printed in blue on thin, banknote style paper. Delineated by county, the map shows good detail of towns and settlements, rivers, roads, canals and railroads. County development is current to 1837 with the addition of Boone County in the northern part of the state. The National Road is prominently shown in the southern portion of the state, and lead mines are located to the north in Wisconsin Territory. Covers not present.
