This lot is comprised of identical base maps and, when put together, provide a most intriguing historical comparison of the growth for this most famous railway. The railroad lines are identified by bright red overprinting. Originating in Chicago with the majority of the network in the Midwest, the line continues to Texas, the Southwest and the California coast. The Southwest provided the biggest draw for rail passengers with stops like the Grand Canyon and Santa Fe. The legend indicates Double Tracks, Projected and Under Construction Tracks.

Overall very good to near fine with occasional short splits at fold intersections and a few short edge tears that just touch the neatline.
