The largest map, Survey of Kennebeck River (43 x 23") by Findlay, Bennett and Wilson shows the portion of the river from Woolwich north to Gardiner and is drawn in two sections. The other four maps, ranging in size from 31 x 20" to 27 x 32", shows survey work in Kennebec and Androscoggin County. Also includes a folding plate of cross sections. Rebound in maroon cloth.

The maps are good to very good with faint to light offsetting. The survey map of the Kennebeck River has moderate foxing and the "No. 2" map has a 5" binding tear closed on verso with archival tape. New binding is fine.
