The map is on a full folio sheet (21.7 x 17.6") surrounded by English text giving a brief description of the state's boundaries, rivers, climate, chief towns, government and history. The finely engraved map delineates counties, rivers and marshes, and major towns. In the northern portion of the state the "Claims under Baron Bastrop's Title" are identified. Engraved by Kneass.

A strong impression with original color and faint toning. There is a short centerfold separation at bottom that just enters the descriptive text.
