A handsome map of Cadiz and the surrounding area. Cadiz is depicted with a bird's-eye plan, with a number of ships sailing in the surrounding waters. Roads, buildings, fields, and a bridge are shown. The strapwork title cartouche features a multitude of putti and merfolk. First published by Johannes Blaeu in 1662, this edition bears the imprint of de Wit, who purchased many of Blaeu's copperplates.
