A detailed map of the Russian possessions between the Baltic, Black and White Seas, extending east to the Ural Mountains. The Russian empire encompasses the Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic states. There is excellent detail of the towns, rivers, and political boundaries in the region. This map was copied from John Pinkerton's map, published in his Modern Atlas. Engraved by J. Moffat.
