A) Carte du Nouv. Rme. de Grenade, de la Noule. Andalousie, et de la Guyane, avec les Pays Limitrophes qui en sont au Sud, by Rigobert Bonne, circa 1780 (12.6 x 8.4"). This copper engraved map shows the northern part of the continent. A remnant of the mythical Lac Parime is shown in Guyana. There is good detail of settlements and topography, and the directions of the trade winds are shown in the Atlantic. Condition: There is light offsetting concentrated along the centerfold and several worm tracks in the upper blank margin. (B+)

B) Carte du Perou ou se Trouvent les Audiences de Quito, Lima et la Plata. Projettee et Assujettie aux Observations Astronomiques, by Bonne/Lattre, circa 1775 (12.6 x 17.4"). This handsome map covers the central portion of South America's western coastal region. It spans from above the Equator to below the Tropic of Capricorn, features good coastal detail, and names several native peoples. The map is adorned with a decorative cartouche and four distance scales. Condition: On watermarked paper with light damp stains and soiling. (B)
