"Part of North America; Containing Canada, the North Parts of New England and New York; with Nova Scotia and Newfound Land. From Sr. Robert with Improvements", Barrow, John (Sir)
Subject: Colonial United States & Canada, Great Lakes
This beautifully engraved copper plate map, after Didier Robert de Vaugondy, describes the Maritimes and New England with an inset of the Great Lakes and course of the Mississippi River. The title is enclosed in a decorative cartouche. This is the first state of this map with the notes on fishing boundaries intact.
