This indenture is an agreement between Anna Chapman of Stanwell in the historic county of Middlesex and William Wadbrooke of Thames Ditton in the county of Surrey, in which Ms. Chapman agrees to pay a sum of 200 pounds "of lawful money of England" to Mr. Wadbrooks. The indenture was written on September 10, 1658, and contains the names of several witnesses and two wax seals.
