Finely engraved map showing all of the Normandy coast and well inland with detail of hundreds of villages, towns, and roads. The political divisions are based on the manuscripts of Sanson. The map is decorated with a title cartouche in the rococo style. This is the first state, prior to the addition of an inset of the Channel Islands. It was published in 1757 as part of the first edition.
