This is a very uncommon map of Wales filled with a tremendous amount of information including roads, distances between towns, market days, rectories, marshes, etc. Notations about each of the counties surround the map. The map is beautifully engraved with a fine title cartouche featuring putti and lush vegetation and fruits. At bottom left is a vignette of St. David's cathedral, with a note below telling of the cathedra's decline.
